Merry Christmas once again.

On the First day of Christmas my mummy gave to me, a packet of chai png~ (LOL rubbish :P)

Rot at home for Christmas. Watched Joyeux Noel on Oktonite, with my mum. Explained the scenes for her since her english wasn't that good.

Great French film about the 1914 World war 1 Christmas Truce. The Christmas Truce was the day where soldiers in their respective entrenchments came out and celebrated Christmas Day together regardless of their allegiance (Without their superior's permission! Ahahaha!). German/English/French soldiers came out of their Trenches and drink/play/pray together. Best part is, all the soldiers slowly fraternized and became friends even though they were shooting & killing each other the day before!

Heartwarming film, it showed me that regardless of our selfish agendas, we're still the same inside - Human.

Okay Bullshit aside.

Random Fact: - Silent Night have been my favourite Christmas song all my life. And it was also sung together by the German & English soldiers during the Christmas Truce! Imagine those soldiers who were fighting against each other the day before, singing and dancing together! Ahh heart warming :D.

Happy Birthday Julian!

Left at around 2am+ and took a cab to Dhoby Ghuat. The cab driver (40+?) was playing some hard rock songs on the radio. I guess I'm the only one in the cab that actually liked it other than the driver. Was so tempted to ask the driver what band was playing on the radio, but ahh I humji la.

Took a night rider at DG and reach home around 3:30am.

Heh, luckily I managed to remember part of the song. Searched it up on youtube and... it was DEEP PURPLE! Sibeh uncle siah me... Okay, time to find some Deep Purple songs. Woo!

Optical fibre training today went very well. Went home like a happy lil' kid.

While cleaning my foot, I felt something sharp stuck in it. My first thought was "fuck it must be a piece of fibre glass". So on careful inspection... FUDGE, its really a piece of fibre glass in my foot! After several futile attempts of pulling it out of my sole, I started to observe it with a magnifying glass & a torch light.

Took me roughly 20minutes to try & pull it out. Shiok. But that piece of fibre flew away from my clipper once I got it out of my foot. Oh well, just hope it won't get me again!

First day of school, met with yukai for breakfast before class. Found out that my class is super small... 18 people! Went through a series of torturous labs/lectures. Managed to stay awake all the way, thats an achievement. Bah, just a sucky start for semester 2.

Ate the new Subway today (something Chicken and Bacon thing with Ranch sauce) with a bunch of friends. Should have "doubled" cheese, no taste at all :(. Went home>dental>home>guitar until now. Monday blues.

The dreaded day (16 oct) is here, I'm 18 (36 mentally) now. More expectations to reach, more responsibilities to bear and less days to enjoy life's misery. Great.

Had a fun day out with (gonna name them all out) Desmond, Seah, Haozhi, Yaowei, Jia Yi, Kang Cheng, Tai Hong, Rong Li and Seng Meng. Lunched at Hans and watched Surrogates later. Had a very delicious dinner at Sizzler (Suntec). Thanks guys, I had a very 快乐鸟日子 happy birthday :).

E4 Chalet!

Back from the 3days 2nights chalet at Aranda. It was a blast! :D Spent so much time on GH5, playing card games, playing "Retarded" card games and talking cock all day long.

1st Day:
Went to the chalet pretty early and most of them are not there yet. Played the guitar and talked cock. After a few hours, Tianfu & the food gang came. Our first reaction to the amount of food was "wtfomgbbq!!!". Obviously we couldn't finish cooking the food on the first night of BBQ. Quite a bunch of us left early...

After BBQ, we found out that we've an unlimited amount of Beehoon left! We thought of many stupid was of disposing it (chucking it down the bin, selling to people... etc). We even played a round of poker and the loser will have to eat the beehoon (But the beehoon was spoiled when the game ended). Played a "retarded" game made by louis before going to sleep.

2nd Day:
Woke up early and returned home to gather my tools for restringing Louis's electric guitar since I broke the top string. Took we just 2 hrs to finish everything and most of the guys are still sleeping! Burned lots time by playing Guitar Hero 5, upgraded the difficulty to Medium! Played forfeit card games, losers will have to go and take a DEEP breath of the stinking/rotting Beehoon!!! Slept pretty early to prepare for night cycling >:)!!!

3rd Day (night cycling):
Woke up at around 3am and it was freaking freezing! Found out that I feel asleep in the living room with out a blanket. *Note - Bring a jacket/blanket when going for chalets. Felt totally naked as it was so freaking cold! Went out of the door with Haziq and Junxuan to escape the freezing hell. Waited for the girls to get ready and we set off to Changi.

We were all cycling with our eyes half-closed. We, guys, chatted a lot at the back of the pack to keep ourselves awake. Talked a lot of random things like how we're going to go into "coma" when we reach home... Reached Changi Village, then cycled down along Changi Airport's runway. Could hear & see airplanes taking off every 15mins! Damn Shiok la! Cycled back to Changi Village for Nasi Lemak breakfast, then went back to return to bikes.

Checked out at 10am, said our Goodbyes and went home. Slipped into a 7-8hrs long coma until my mum woke me up for dinner.

Ahh, one of the best chalet I've ever had!

7.62mm, Full Metal Jacket

I've not been studying hard. Guess what I've been doing? YEAH NOTHING! Woo hoo :D.

No, actually I've been watching an old movie called Full Metal Jacket. I think its done in the 1980s. About the Vietnam War, pretty damn cool. The first 10minutes of the movie is just, EPIC. Alright won't spoil the movie for those that are interested (NO ONE!). I feel so lucky that Singapore is not so nosy as to fight somebody else's war (Vietnam, Korean and Iraq war, just to name a few).

This is a small part of the film, where they are still in bootcamp training. And somehow, one of them goes ga-ga >: ).



Gotta love that trademark stare: head tilted down a little, eyes up a little, and coupled with an evil grin :D.

Full Metal Jacket was a good watch. Planning to get Apocalypse Now which is another old vietnam war movie. Damn, no one makes movies like this anymore :(.

Ahh, I've decided to do my rant post next time. Not in a "rant-y" mood.

Finally went to the gym after like a month's break, due to laziness. Wanted to do some extra exercise after the workout in the gym, but couldn't find a nice spot to :(.

So my friend did this to me:



Arrgh, sucks to be the "receiver".

This video made an error. Wrong arm positions, receiver's left arm is roughly correct but receiver's right arm should be across the other guy's body (to the left). With that right arm in position, it will help the "sender" to choke the "receiver" out as it will be pressing on his right carotid artery. Hey, I did my research. Its not all violence, its a thinking man's game.

Took me an hour and a half to clean my guitar, and restring it. Tedious man, no wonder some people (richer ones) prefer to pay shops to do it.

Took me another 30mins to tune to Drop C, first time doing it. Drop C sounds badass, hehe! Just tried to learn Arms of Sorrow by KsE. I'm still not used to the sudden palm-muting and pitch harmonics that comes out of no where. Need more practice!

I've a feeling that my guitar's gonna die on me soon, 3-4 years buddy le :'(.

Cycled to Bryan's place just now. Its been long since I've seen him haha, still the same caveman hairstyle and fierce look. Feels good to cycle together again. Yeah, and he still can cycle without his hands, drink orange juice and taunt me.

Settled down at his block, did some light exercise, tried some stuff. Yinghao came later and shouted "police!", what an ass. Another guy with wild hair. Trained a while, injuring each other a little, crazy. A pity that we have to stop after a while :(. Seah came later in a stupid outfit haha. Said our goodbyes and cycle home.

Whenever I cycle, I'll think a lot... too much. Tunes and lyrics came out suddenly while cycling, even tried to sing it out. Almost lost focus and self-buang :x. Ahh, had a good night out with them, feels good to roll again. :) :P :D.

This is just amazing. Searched up "Battle Metal" on youtube for fun, and the results are crazy. Viking metal, battle metal, and some crazy Finnish metal band.

Its funny how some bands can sing about Heavy Metal and Rock music genre while you will never hear a pop star singing about the Pop music genre. Like these heavy metal bands are willing to "die" for metal or something like that. But I like the lyrics, very... hmm strong.

*it all happened on friday, blogged this too late.

Called DSA teacher's office in the morning and there was no answer, so roy and I decided not to go to school. Slacked from 10am to 3pm, went to the gym at 4.30.

There's this Standard Chartered Bank hockey men junior world cup going on at Anchorvale Sports complex. My friend thought that it would be cool to watch the match. Took our tickets (yeah "took", it was free), and went into one of stadium and watched the game. Pakistan vs Argentina. 4-1. We only watched for like 10mins and the game ended, damn xia suay...

Oh and it was a junior men category, all the players look as if they are 20+. They don't look junior at all, especially the angmoh teams. Saw a bunch of i-suppose-they-are-netherlands team (orange jersey), they look like 20+ lah! Oh yeah and angmohs are freaking tall, everyone of them. Couldn't understand what they were saying, guess its dutch.

Might be watching another game tomorrow, India vs some country. Too bad the finals are at JB, not in SG :(.

Arrgh, very tired physically now. Damn bench press, do too much :(.

Today's the first time I've swam in YCK swimming complex. Its different from other swimming complexes, YCK have a radio! I think they have their own playlist too. Yay completed IP Lab5 today. Huuray for no errors!

Finally hit the gym today with a friend, been long since I went there.

Almost crashed into so many things on the way back, mostly humans. I hate cycling on the pedestrian, more dangerous than cycling on the road. I've to avoid kids that are trying to race me, ahpeks who cannot hear properly, aunties carrying groceries, teenager blasting on mp3, pregnant women and many more. OH YES and incense ashes thats lying around on the floor.

At least now my quads are aching :D. Felt really "high" when I sped at 2-8, almost wanted to try 3-5 but I humji :(. I want to cycle to ECP/Seletar/Punggol End and LCK (yeah thats far) one day! I need new brake pads, handlebar and gears... but I don't have the heart to spend my money on those :(.

HAHA, I still remember that day when I was cycling around "The Florida" condo area. I was tired, so I cycled very slowly behind an auntie with a rich-tai-tai look. She turned around and stare at me for a few times, I seriously didn't knew why. So after a minute or so, she stared at me for the final time and started sprinting to the gates of her condo. Now I know why she stared at me so many times, she thought that I was a stalker/robber/rapist/killer/psychotic/serialkiller/freddie/jason/chucky. Hmm... I think she is seriously paranoid, really, do I look like a stalker/robber/rapist/killer/psychotic/serialkiller/freddie/jason/chucky?

Mr Crazy Neighbour is knock, knock, knocking (on heaven's door~~~) again. Dogs bite people, but people don't bite dogs. Arrgh, doesn't really matter anyway.

Bought Zoom 3030 multi effects pedal from Seah yesterday. Damn shiok. I can play all kinds of genre now, from AhPek Rock to Metal! Oh and Seah seems to be interested in the AhPek Rock genre now HAHA. Didn't go penisula in the end, tired. :(

Watched a lot of videos on David Belle, a French guy who does a lot of parkour... The only movie that I've seen him in is District B13, which is in french. Heard that there will be a sequel to District B13, called B13: Ultimatum or something. Yay hurray to more parkour movie action! Watching his videos make me want to train LOL.

Completed maths Equiz yesterday night, realised that my P&C concept really sucked. Studied P&C in Amaths during my secondary school days, regretted not listening to Mr Aw. Ahhh, but it was really difficult trying to stay awake while listening to him :(.

I'm still coping with my braces, front teeth are shaky though. Able to eat solid food, just very slowly (can't get used to the speed). Returning to my regular routine of activities since I'm able to eat now. Argh, hope my mum allows me to cycle again.

This post is 2 days late, but who cares!

Was freaking bored on Sunday, so I decided to watch a few movies. Crank and Saving Private Ryan. Watched Crank online (streaming okay!), and SPR "somewhere else" (*ahem*).

Crank was awesome, although its very brainless. A lot of action and funny scene, including one where Jason Statham (Transporter guy) had... in the public, just to keep his adrenaline levels high. Eww... I think this will be the only time where you see Jason Statham does crazy&stupid things instead of the regular cool assassin. Oh and Crank 2 High Voltage is screening in Singapore in July! Woots.

Saving Private Ryan is a very very very very good show! (lousy vocab, sorry). Very touching at time, even though with all the blood and gore. It makes me wonder if I can be as brave as any of them on the field. And, what if I'm injured lying on the floor with my innards beside me? Would I scream & cry for mama, or would I smile & die happily? Bah, war is never good :(.

I remembered that I was introduced to Buckethead's music through an American by MSN chat. I think I knew that person since Primary 6, and I think I was playing Runescape back then. Went "grinding" monsters together and PKed some losers... haha. I remembered email-ing each other as if we were pen-pals, then slowly we started to talk on msn messenger. We shared our many stories with each other concerning our backgrounds, and of course I tried to talk to him with standard English (althought its broken once in a while)...

Sigh... hardly get to talk to him anymore, I guess we've just moved on with our lives. Last time I've talked to him was like Christmas 2008, where he said he will be going off to his relatives' place for a few days. And about him graduating, becoming an Insurance agent before going into college and stuff...

Enough about that...

This current Swine Flu scare is getting out of hand. I'll have to have my temperature taken when I go to school. Not once, but TWICE in a day! Once in the morning and the second in the afternoon. I just hope I don't get a fever so they won't have to quarrentine me...

I'm dead bored right now... done nothing for the weekend at all :( Com Maths lesson tomorrow and I am still confused about it. Don't really understand the topic, cannot concentrate in Maths lecture ah. Sian.

2nd week of Poly year2 and I have yet to know much about the class, haha what a loser :(. Bah.

Oh yes, and I don't like Jay Chou. Never liked his music... ever. :D.

Stopped blogging for a while due to school and laziness.

Yeah, i'm a bo geh right now. Next appointment on next friday. Managed to survive 2 weeks of school haha. Can't eat much due to the wound, so I've stop doing some of the things that I do... (duuh).

Managed to make some mash potato for myself on wednesday night, it was quite nice considering it was my first time doing it. Just a little too much butter =/.

Yesterday was pretty much a waste of time. Sat in Lecture for 2 hours, Break for 2 hours, and another Lecture for 2 hrs. Went to play pool with some friends after school. As usual, I missed quite a lot, but at least I won :D.

Not in the mood to blog anyway... lazy.

Brace myself 4

Went for extraction yesterday night, the extraction was done very fast. Not much pain at all, only when the dentist injected the anesthetic. After the anesthetic kicked in, I couldn't feel anything on my mouth. So the forceps went in and pulled my teeth out :(. I guess the time during the extraction was only like 10-20seconds.

Rested at home after that. My mum is very worried about me, sigh. Told her that there's nothing to be worried about. I slept very easily at night due to the painkillers that I took, but I know she couldn't sleep... sigh...

Hopefully I can heal faster and just get my braces installed.
