been quite an "eventful" week for me
at least it seems to me.
recently some girl approached me at a bus stop near nyp
i assume she is from nyp...
asked for a few coins to take bus
gave her and she asked me a very weird question
"do you want me to return it to you?"
hmm, wonder what would have happened if i said "Yes"
went to my sec sch class (4e2) chalet yesterday
it was at Aloha Changi.
damn it was Huge!! considering the price
saw many familiar faces, ah so nice.
too bad i couldn't stay overnight :(
really wanted to.
i think mah poly class should have one at Aloha too
we just need to work together,
forget about our differences,
move along and come on lets play (HAHA ripped from the SSC advertisment)
but seriously,
i don't see why we are not having happy outings or chalets.
just cooperate and bear with each other for a few days
it will definitely be fun, dont worry about it.

ah, was a good workout especially on the back

my commitments are being misunderstood by people
they don't understand it at all
to the level of ignorance.
i know i'm being harsh.
but i have to be.
seriously,
they don't know shit about
my (time) commitments and they babble about it
(and my mouse is trying to be an asshole right now)
they don't even try to understand.
not at all, or at least from what i see.
its the "final judgment" all the time
wham! boom! pew!
all the harsh words are out
yes, you can say i'm trying to be a spoiled brat
but i hardly find time for myself
even if i do, i'll get disturbed by someone, somehow.
i think i have to be more self centered now.
i can't keep this up. i'm running dry.

never tried to let out some of my troubles...

its a "me first" world now -
if you can't make it, you can't.
whatever logical excuse you give is useless.
no one gives a hoot if you are stressed

as long as you can't make it. you just freaking can't.

i think i'm supposed to laugh at the world. i don't know why. HAHA. with the current commotion about *ahem*, i shall not add fuel/oil/fats/lard/ghee/butter to the fire/oven/stove/pot/kettle/somethinghot.
went out with hz for a while. bought a MEGA MCSPICY MEAL back home. SUPER SHIOK! but sinful lah. i strongly discourage anyone to buy or attempt to eat a Macdonald Mega Meal. although its very fulfilling, you should know the side effects. example: cravings, teary eyes, hatred for kfc/burgerking, love of $2 notes, and of course - worshipping of the golden arches.
when we're hungry, macdonalds will keep us alive..~

the US election is gonna be held tomorrow 9am (gmt +8).
too bad i can't watch the live telecast from CNA, i've school :(
i think if either candidate is elected, there will still be another war
i dont know where, but i know there will be

maybe i should write a book of epic prophecies
and have retards (hopefully) worshipping me

i just hope this new president can stop the o' so unholy crusade

first it was the gulf war, then afgan, then iraq
and the MOST coincidental similarities is that, the citizens there
are majority muslim.

a day at the mart

right after i alighted sv 72, i went to hougang mall to grab some soymilk and snacks. was quite surprised to see that theres still girls that follow their ah-ma to the market to buy provisions. i thought this breed of people have been extinct. i guess i was wrong. hah.
finally a time for me to play my guitar, in peace. Tehhhhh!!!

after saturday ccna class
went home on bus 72
fell asleep on the bus and missed my stop
came out and realised i'm somewhere in hougang
saw the serangoon park connector
so i roughly knew where i was
didn't felt like taking another bus service back to hougang mall
so i walked...
walked pass this wet market
which i think is going to be demolished
around ave 7, i guess.
continued to walk pass evergreen (where roy stays)
then rio vista, then chij church, then punggol park
didn't feel tired at all after the walk
even with a aprox. 3kg bag along...
guess it was due to the nice weather
just after a rain, everything is so quiet (other than my mp3 blasting)
when i get my bike repaired (not so soon)
i'll ride around like a madman..

took up ccna course last week. went for the class on saturday morning. can you imagine that? classes on saturdays? the worst thing is that, my parents keep thinking that i'm going for remedials! dammit! the class's pace is freakily fast. being a year 1 with no DCN knowledge, i'm just a dummy in the class. i don't even know what are some of the students asking.
hais, i don't regret taking up ccna. at least not now. i just hope this semester can be least stressful as the previous. especially the module that is specially for project. oh talking about that module, it sucks. it really do. the only way to get participation marks is by doing quizzes given by the lecturer, sounds easy? thats not all. you have only a few minutes to do it, easy? and! only the first 15-20 students from around 40+ people will get to submit the answers. he don't care if it is correct or wrong. i think i'll just submit a 1/2f--ked piece of work for him, just to sabo the rest heh heh.
last semester was a mess. especially about projects, everyone was rushing to complete it. everyone was trying to protect their work as much as possible. well, being brought up in a very competitive environment, its natural for people to look for self-interests. at least i can say i did most of my work honestly.
then came the exams, didn't put 100% of my effort in it. how i wish i've put more effort. the only comforting words i can tell myself is that "grades are not everything". yeah. right. so. true. when you are a student, grades are - quite everything. you get assessed by lecturers. they ask for my gpa and i replied normally, they would just tell me that i might have less chances. when you are studying, in the process of it, grades are quite everything. i've only heard "high-flyers"/"scorers" being able to say "grades are not everything" without a blink. its the same for the phrase "money is not everything". of course it is not everything, but only the rich will say "money is not everything" and not add "but it can't buy love/happiness/something".
guess i'm just being very pessimistic about a lot of things lately. most likely due to my extremely long timetable which have adversly affected my social life. heh heh. got to get used to things. suck it up weikang, no use whining. alright, so to survive through this semester, i'll have to sacrifice a few things. my social life, my family life, and my personal time for myself. pretty cool eh? hmm, great success comes with great sacrifices right? erm, so after you sacrifice things, you gain some things, then you sacrifice it to gain some more things? erm. nevermind, it doesn't make sense. i don't have to.

guess i'm just being very pessimistic about a lot of things lately. most likely due to my extremely long timetable which have adversly affected my social life. heh heh. got to get used to things. suck it up weikang, no use whining. alright, so to survive through this semester, i'll have to sacrifice a few things. my social life, my family life, and my personal time for myself. pretty cool eh? hmm, great success comes with great sacrifices right? erm, so after you sacrifice things, you gain some things, then you sacrifice it to gain some more things? erm. nevermind, it doesn't make sense. i don't have to.

holidays are coming to an end.
can't say i've spend my time constructively...
but at least its better than last time.
much much better.
i was pretty busy doing what i like
hmm, guitar mainly...
of course the staple, gym and swimming.
moved on to even more gym visits and swimming
and of course some waterpark (jurong east).
then someone suggested badminton,
and so we did badminton too in the holidays.
been a very physical period for me
kinda regretted that i was not serious enough in the gym
chatting too much hehe
a little too late now. but nevermind
theres improvement.
my regular gym mates were
seah and haozhi
yeah, had a lot of fun with these guys
talked a lot of shit with these guys too... damn.
got to meet up with a lot of other secondary sch mates
so overall, i had a very fun holiday
as if i am not a student at all
no stress, no worries, so carefree ye' know?

relived my memories. good and bad ones.

since my computer have some issues with SFO,
decided to have Kawaks instead to play SF
so i've been Hadoken-ing since 9pm...
played Marvel VS Street Fighter
won Mech-Akuma with Ryu and Cyclops
ah, good o' days.
and i'll just dump the bad stuff away.
finally gave my timetable a good look and almost puked.
it is horrible!
have to bear with it for almost 5 months.

Why when US fight wars, they have enormous casaulties
and when other european countries (Britain) do it in a better way?
Okay.
Example WW2 (world war 2)
Nazi Germany conquered almost the whole of continental Europe
only. Britain was left standing
So, they bombed London almost every single freaking day
but they persevered!
Then finally USA stepped into the war.
They made a push into Europe.
How?
by Operation Overlord.
ok. History lesson.
Operation Overlord was a beach assault
6th June 1944. D-Day.
How was it done?
During the morning, a whole bunch of Landing craft was send to several beaches of Northern France
most notably, Sword, Juno and Omaha Beach.
Men rushed up the fortified beaches. Get ripped into pieces by the German MG42
Drowned in the water, blood red water, bodies filled the beaches.
The British went to Sword and Juno, while the US - Omaha.
In the end, the Alllied won. but with a lot of casualties
BUT the casualties of Sword and Juno compared to Omaha
was way way way less!
how come? something is missing here...
Anyhow, Respect to those soldiers who participated in the Marine Assault or we will be living in a different world.
bottomline is, i just think american like to chiong suay. ooorah?

Disaster Movie. Shit man, it is really a Disaster movie
Funny, if you appreciate toilet humour...

went to jurong east swimming complex on 15sept (blog in midnight)
surprisingly, we went there early. complex opens at 2:30pm
so we camped at KFC.
we wanted to play daidi (big2), so some of us went to buy playing cards
so we waited, and they came back with...
erm erm.
very "special" looking playing cards.
so special that i can never ever describe with words
right.
when the clock struck 2:30pm, we queued and went it
the slide was freaking big, HIGH!
so we rented a few floats (regulations) then we went to play on the slide
the yellow one was fast and furious.
red/pink one was quite boring
the blue one was fun, the thrill last for a long time
ya. so we fooled around from the slide,
to the "Wave pool" (i suppose) and the "lazy river"
didn't join the guys for Carls Jr at Plaza Singapura
so i went home first.
woah. what a great day.

most real depiction of Singaporean life on film ever.
i guess it showed me the very ugly side of materialism
especially the 5 "Cs".
most of us will agree that the 5 "Cs" is just far-fetched dreams
but the truth is, we do regard the 5 "Cs" as a gauge of someone's success.
don't we?

what are we pursing in life all the time?
our dreams? our passion?
or just a blind devotion to the very root of evil,

on Taiwanese criticizing our English.
i think they meant Singlish.
can't we have our own language?
they speak "taiwanese mandarin"
we speak "singaporean english"
anything wrong with that?
whats wrong is that.
it is done on the media o_o

you can't compare simpletons with media-personalities!

alright great, thats the end of the stupid common test
yeah btw, on thursday there was Contender Asia on Channel 5 (too bad i dont have AXN)
as usual, i watched it and it was kick-ass!

rafik was cocky at the start
but at least they start to respect each other at the end of the match

ate like freaking pigs (lucky i went for a swim to cut down the carbo)
omg the food there is quite good, for the price

when back to hougang for pool

yeah and haozhi received a stupid phone call from "someone" lol
ok, so we roamed around hougang mall to wait for that person
turned out that, it was a mistake =_=
guess i should start playing my guitar more often
becoming slow, like an old man =(
forming up a plan on what to do during the holidays

wow. just watched Contender Asia just now.

wow. one hell of a match...
both fighters fought to the 5th and final round
in the end John Wayne Parr won by decision
some say that contact sport is very violent
yes it is violent
but if proper measures are taken
there will be less risk
personally,
i don't watch a fight for fun
i don't like to see people getting hurt
but i like the way they execute the moves
i don't think anyone should learn to fight,
for the sake of hurting another person
so...
yeah. have to wait for next week's finals
oopp is such an ass
keep having errors out of no where
so difficult to think like a computer
but i learn quite a lot in the process of doing the project
just "finished" my project
gotta do my class diagram tomorrow
and after friday
its time for revision, dammit.
can't even sit down and catch my breath
life's moving on too fast

game of life part 1
hi blog
recently, i've been playing a game
a game called life
hell... there's so many players
got to know so many players in this game
good ones and bad ones
this game is so different from the others
it doesn't have
a restart button
a save button
a load button
but it definitely have a quit button sitting there waiting for some players to press it
been in the game for 16+ years i guess
can't keep track
too addictive, way too interactive
you can choose to be a good guy or a bad guy
many ways to play this game
it even have games in this game!
well, this game had been around for quite some time
i can't really communicate with senior players very well
the game world is highly dynamic, things change all the time!
heard there will be a major in-game game this game year and its called
the Olympics
it would be held in china, beijing where the amount of players there is much more
i'm currently attending polytechnic education in this game
pretty fun at times
but boring at times too
best thing is, i get to study in the game!

every time i listen to padmasana (my current blog song)
i feel very relaxed and calmed
oh ya, padmasana is the position
where buddha sits on the lotus flower (imagine it yourself)
maybe that's why it feels very peaceful.
should i change my blog song?
hmm, but surely won't suit the visitors wahaha (ok maybe a few)
guess i'll dig through my song list to find some suitable ones

find that foreigners (asians, angmohs)
they don't know that singaporeans speak english

turned out that my 2nd attempt, which was a rushed work
had a better score than my first.
had fun in school today

afraid of being optimistic
being open minded is very important
once you have a fixed mindset, and if its a bad one
no one will be able to help you
because your mind becomes an enormous boulder
that can't be moved...
i like to be open minded
and adjust to situations

dennick wanted to go out for lunch with the classmates
but due to his bad reputation (ITS TRUE LOL)

so we decided to go home

boring week
seriously boring week in school
got to know some of my common test results
i'm quite happy with it =)
suddenly feel a little more "free"
since there's no nypal meetings anymore (for now)
ah, being able to reach home early is a blessing =D
today is another seriously boring day
went to sch and saw many people with the "warning" lettbeer
guess what, i didn't check my mailbox
so, when i return home, i WANTED to check my mailbox
but my bed was just so... hmm ok
i fell asleep somehow
and checked my mailbox on 6pm
and ta-da i have the warning letter.
no choice but to submit that piece of inaccurate statistics back to school =)
time flies.
1/2 the semester is gone
the second set of common tests are coming soon, and a few weeks more to exams =x
maybe we should start to think about our class chalet?(dmit08040
or will we repeat history by having a last minute event again.... hmm

lazy bum
been feeling very lazy this few days.
project deadlines are nearing every minute >_<
anyway,
been watching a lot of "Da Ali G Show" on youtube recently
repsect (yehs its speled ths whay)
yeah, and in one of the video
ali g talked to a vegen guy and asked him this question

the end is the beginning
DMD...
first look at the paper.
omg the questions are so...
so..
straightforward!
if i've studied enough, BAM! i got the answer.
if i've studied enough, i could have done it without any hair loss
if i've studied enough... bah
damn it.
the questions are sooo soo soo sooo x1518975091 straightforward!
blame it on procrastination
blame it on laziness
blame it on Mass Effect (game)
blame it on my computer
blame it on every single thing alive or dead

common test weak
yes. common test WEAK.
feel so weak, so sian, so bored
can't go out much because of common test revision which is so last minute.
today was maths.
quite easy
just hated how the speaker buzzed in the LT.
invigilators didn't notice the buzz... hmm
whenever i'm doing maths
it always tend to remind me of my secondary school days.
how i managed to survive through the period without much work and effort...
sec 1, slacked, play... slacked, last minute
sec2, same, same, same, last minute for streaming
sec3, managed to get into a double science class + amaths and pure humanities (geog for me)
still... played, slacked, played, slacked...
sec4, played all the way until the last few months and started to study hard..
my secondary school life is... so dreamy... so...
bah
i always had this "guo re zi" (passing day by day) mentality in secondary sch...
guess i can't have this mentality now in poly...
everything is graded, everything contributes to GPA.
tomorrow's DMD (DMD stands for digital media design, for those who dont know)
and i have yet to complete my studies.
going to wake up tomorrow to study.
last minute is my middle name
i'm so screwed...
so, screwed.

oh no, a few more days to common test!
and my revision is not done yet! (arrrgh)
i have absolutely no idea on how to study for DMD test...
damn it
the only thing to rejoice about is that, we only have 2 papers for common test! (YAY)
sigh
my holidays are so dull
clouded with school work almost everyday...
its so difficult to ask people to go for an outing
schedules just can't meet, or just plain lazy.
sigh, everyone's busy

pe-lo-jack
woke up early in the morning and rushed to school, for what?
for pe-lo-jack.
i hate pe-lo-jack.
he suck.
still, i've not started studying for neither maths nor dmd
i'm so screwed...
i wonder how are we going to finish our pe-lo-jacks in time.
since i'm a poly student.
i need to get used to doing pe-lo-jacks

i need to learn how to appreciate and love pe-lo-jack.

well, going to collect my O level testimonial from my secondary school tomorrow
heard that the school went on news for another "very-common-but-some-sua-kus-decide-to-report-it-on-the-news" kinda news.

0804 bbq yesterday
luckily it didn't turn out as messy as i thought... (hmm)
didn't eat much... didn't have the appetite to eat
i don't eat much for bbq-s.
bbq turned out to be quite enjoyable, laughters and smiles
the sky was so dark all the time...
was worried if it will rain or not.
well, it did.
but not that big, just slight drizzle but wasn't strong enough to put out the fire.
woke up today at 1pm
no idea why i woke up so late
i'm still feeling tired now...
perhaps i've not been exercising enough...
becoming lazy
becoming unhealthy =(
becoming fat!
one more week to the end of holiday

have to start studying

back from camp, back to bed
returned from nypal camp on tuesday night.
had fun, considering the amount of people present...
been staying at home for some gaming lately (finally...sigh).
Mass Effect is such a great game, finally its ported to PC!
great graphics, storyline, but just a little repetitive in the tasks given.
kinda forgot that i have almost half a dozen projects on my hand...
see i used the word "almost"? shows that i don't even know how many projects i have! (yay!)
this "2 weeks" term break feel sooo short!
can't arrange any time to meet with friends...
jc peeps are busy with "PW" (k i have 5 projects)
poly peeps just can't be bothered (not refering to dmit0804 haha)
sometimes i feel that "1st-degree" friends tend to stray away after a while.
haha, i feel that way maybe because i've been going out with other friends lately...
as long as you have a bunch of good friends and family, thats all that matters =)

i just found out that most of my post are done in late nights!

used to sleep early but schedule changed once i've entered poly... sigh.
nowadays projects are being given out by lecturers as though they are free.
since we love free things sooo much, we have no choice but to accept those projects =(

mmc bbq =D
yay! just came back from multimediaclub bbq.
got to meet up with my batch of members and chatted for a long time.
did more of chatting/basketball/jisiao-ing than eating bbq food haha.
basketball was hilarious when shawn started to do impressions of a friend playing basketball... (damn gonna have nightmares)
after that went to rp's mac for .. another... chat. (hmm chat here and there). went off and the macdonald's worker came up and showed us a wallet asking if it was ours. when we took a closer look, we found out that it was daryl's wallet! yeah, so now its with me.
went home, doing oopp and staring at this screen.

brainquakes and spinning tops
woo huu huu!!!
woke up yesterday and saw my room spinning 820 degrees! (.94314 to be exact)
walked like a drunkard to my living room and sat down on the sofa
tried to sit straight but ended up throwing a pile of water outta my mouth...
eergh, bad day.
was supposed to go out and hand my friend her birthday present.. but was sick... sorry =(

so late already!
never mind, i had quite a lot of sleep last night.
spend my whole night calling here, calling there, msn here and msn there.
what a good way to spend my precious time...
i've been cracking my head on java before i reach home...
after i reach home, i need to crack my head on something else again...
my head can't stand anymore cracking or it will really burst into pieces!
despite all these crap today,
heard a piece of good news in school today which is: dmit0804 might be having a bbq during the june break! (yay!)
hopefully it will go well and no hiccups will happen...
i need a break... or i'll break.

ahh. a blog.
don't really know why i've created a blog but i just did! hmm. what should i do with this blog... hmm. who cares, its my blog anyway =D.
right.
was dismissed on 12noon today but had to wait for nypal meeting at 6pm. so, i had 6 hours to burn. went to the library and had a project meeting for cs1. burned somemore time by doing the dmd quiz in advance while listening to music that i loved. (finally i have time for music!) yay. so waited for a while more and went for my nypal meeting at 6pm.
finished at 8 near 9pm and went home... when i reach home, i found out that theres nothing to be put into my empty and hungry stomach :(. so i cried... haha joking. so i went to cook... cook... instant noodles (what did you expect?).
yawn. what a dull day. still waiting for the term break to arrive. still waiting for a class outing to be confirmed... waiting, waiting... always.
