Woo I'm getting better that restringing my guitar. Looks great now.

Went for my friends' dance performance yesterday at Lucky Plaza... Dumb place to perform. I thought I was sucked into the Philippines. Crappy place, crappy setlist = crappy performance. Stage was too small.

One thing that opened my eyes was this particular (only) rock band.

Formed by 4 middle aged uncles. They looked very normal, no rockstar punkass attitude. They played mainly 70s-80s rock, like Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. Awesome energy (considering their age) and vocals. A pity was that... their setlist kinda suck. Which song by Black Sabbath should anybody play in a cover gig? Iron Man lah! Sian, they played Warpigs instead... Sad.

Glad to see those uncles enjoy themselves, however it was a pity that the audience was made up of teenagers who most likely wouldn't know what the hell they're singing. Guess those uncles were there to make up for those days when they were young and ready to rock... but reality pulls them back. Hah, I think I might be there when I'm at their age too... hahhhh.

Okay firstly, I fail on doing the things I said I'll do yesterday. Fail on the guitar part totally.

Bumped into Bryan at Compass today. Almost didn't recognise him (again). Changed from that thick, long, and wild hair into more "straight" hair. Caught up a little just by standing around and chatting. Seems like FYP in SP sucks. Hope to meet up soon for some crazy shit.

Bumped into a Poly classmate while taking the escalator. Win. 1 trip hit 2 friends.

Had PizzaHut, talked cock and went home.

Its gonna be a late night for me, MOVIE NAI!

Oh yes, watched a few of clips on Climate Change debates. Post my views soon. :)

Dad's back. Yay!

Anyway, Hz visited me today. Left his acoustic guitar at my place, said that he will come back to collect it after some time. Shiok lah, now I've another guitar to accompany me through my lonely nights.

Having late nights. Sleeping at 3am or 4am almost everyday since the past week. Most of the time doing nothing on the internet, just staring at the screen (well... actually playing guitar :P). Guess I'll have to reset my body clock again.

So, I'll put this time with Hz's acoustic guitar into good use before it gets taken back to its rightful owner! :(. Think I should sleep soon... WSS training tomorrow. Fudge.

Oscars Best Picture Awards: The Hurt Locker!

Eat that Avatar! Blue-elf monkeys jumping around a big-ass tree.

Sorry, I don't like movies targeted for a "Disney" crowd. To me, Avatar is just filled with CG and explosions. The story is pretty weak if you ask me. Only thing that I actually liked was the CG and its "interesting" concept of Humans cohabiting with aliens.

I feel that The Hurt Locker really deserved to win the award! Face-melting awesomeness. Show was so tense all the time. Loved the part where the EOD suit guy says "Well if I'm gonna die, I might as well die comfortably." while taking off his Bomb protection suit. Badass dude. (Y).

So heres some voluntary advertisement for The Hurt Locker.

Argh, its smoky in here. Wtf man, whats the SCDF doing?

Cycled today to Punggol for street soccer with friends. I had to cycle through Tampines Road up north to Punggol. That road was so smoky! At first I thought it was the damn bus/lorry/construction vehicles passing me, but when I look to the side of the road (where all the forest/bush are)... There was smoke rising from there!

Bloody hot weather must have caused a bush fire. Yay, weather win.

I managed to get myself to Punggol in the end. On my way back... thick black smoke was still rising from the forest. Yay great job. I guess hmm... 2 to 4 hours of burning?

Songbo, I'm smoking right now. For free somemore! Steady.

WSS training tomorrow. Oh fudge.
